The beautiful 2,000 acre Holdenby Estate is a stunning location for shooting. The Lowther family and our Gamekeeper, Steve Evans, are delighted to invite you to take part in our exciting new Simulated shooting Event.
Designed to replicate the challenge of game shooting, our clays offer a range of targets that imitate the flight patterns of different game birds.
Whether it’s the high pheasant or the darting partridge, each shot promises to test the mettle and marksmanship of seasoned shooters.
It’s an opportunity to shoulder your gun in an area where history meets skill and elevate your shooting prowess to new heights, and as important, to do so in a beautiful setting and a spirit of camaraderie.

To ensure the safety and enjoyment of all participants, we ensure that all simulated shoots are conducted with the highest regard for safety and environmental stewardship, allowing you to enjoy the thrill of the shoot with peace of mind.
For you part we require:
- All members partaking in this sport must hold a valid shotgun certificate.
- All Members partaking in this spot must hold their own insurance
- Prior shooting experience is a necessity, as this is not a novice’s undertaking.
