Sunday 6th May 2018 - Monday 7th May 2018
The Northamptonshire branch of the Hardy Plant Society is holding its Annual Plant Fair at Holdenby House on May Bank Holiday Sunday and Monday 11-4pm.
There will be specialist nursery stalls with a wide selection of plants so this is the ideal place for plant enthusiasts to buy plants from local nurseries and stockists.
Whichever day you choose to visit, it will be a wonderful day out including entrance to the historic Grade I listed Gardens, Falconry Displays, Ladybird Hunt & Nature Trail for the children, croquet on the lawn and garden tours with Holdenby's Head Gardener Mat Hughes. This is a great opportunity to get some insights into how a garden of this size and splendour is kept to such a high standard all year round.
Delicious treats will be served in the new tearoom ' Connies's Tea Parlour at Holdenby House' and bookable Vintage Afternoon Teas on the South Lawn.
For the first time at this event, on Bank Holiday Monday you will have the opportunity to see inside this Historic House with guided tours from 12noon - 3.30pm. ( Additional prices apply)
The Medieval Church of All Saints Holdenby will also be open on both days and visitors are welcome to look around and to spend some quiet time reflecting on the beautiful surroundings.
Entrance: Adult £5, Child £2.50 ( Under 5's free)
HHA Members £5, free entry to the house (House open Monday Only)
