Sunday 26th August 2012 - Monday 27th August 2012
Exhibitors and visitors alike were treated to a weekend of food, drink and cookery demonstrations at the weekend at the Northamptonshire Food Show @ Holdenby, for the sixth successive year.
Visitors were treated to demonstrations by not only leading chefs from the county, but also the Lowther family's very own housekeeper Sarah Favell. Sarah gave a demonstration showing people how the Kitchen Garden is used to its full potential, following an informative tour of the Garden by our head gardender Matt Hughes.
Sponsors Bells with Aga also had cookery demonstrations and Land Rover were on hand to show people around their newest cars.
The NFU Roadshow came to Holdenby showing visitors where our food comes from, which was both informative and a lot of fun! (You couldn't miss him!!) And another new addition this year was the very popular Masterclass marquee where Richard Curtis from Northampton College ran courses on knife skills, chocolate truffles and pasta making!
Many of the 75 stallholders sold out of produce on both days and everybody left smiling having enjoyed a wonderful day out.
Great Food Mag joined us this year and to see their articles and photos please click here.
We are looking forward to next year already!!
